The Beagles are happy loving dogs that have a long relationship with man as a companion of the hunt. Although nobody knows for sure where these dogs down, there are records of small hunting dogs that come back to the XIII century and is not ninguÌ? No secret that these dogs are absolutely right for the fox and rabbit hunting. His great nose that does not support, Beagle is also a fellow of the fun that can be easily adapted to family life. However, you have to remember that the beagle has strong instincts for the prosecution and you must never leave loose or walk him without his lead. Recognized by the American kennel club in 1884, this popular breed is muscular with long languid ears, dark eyes, a short coat and a sharp sense of smell. The breed comes in two sizes – one under 13 inches and one between 13 and 15 inches. He can be any color but the Beagles show typical tan and black in white. Along with his propensity to pursue small animals, the voice of the Beagles can be one of his less lovable traits. The beagle has a loud howl something that is great for hunters help find them when they are on the trail of the dam, but not so good when you are waking up with him in the middle of the night. The Beagles tend to scratch when they hear strange noises and can bark loudly when they're only gone for long periods of time so if you are considering a beagle for the life of the apartment then you might want to think twice. The Beagles are very active dogs and need regular exercise. You shouldn 't leave them out unattended though so be prepared to walk them daily and bring them to the park for the weekend. The Beagles are very social and will not like to be one way for long periods of time or can become destructive. Although Beagles are fairly easy to prepare with his short coat, you should plan to brush once a week to remove dead hair. Can take the wheel in terms Icky so we also prepare to bathe occasionally. Long languid ears can easily become infected and should be reviewed frequently to be sure that no infection is brewing. One thing to watch for in your pet beagle is eating too. The Beagles like to eat and are not careful at all about what they put in their mouths. In fact, you might find your beagle rummaging in the garbage for a snack after dinner. Since the Beagles are small dogs, you need to be sure it does not come over your pet while he or she can do to bring in that big health problems. The Beagles can live to be around 15 years of age if they are cared for properly. Some diseases that are looking for in this breed particularly include epilepsy, glaucoma, cataracts, disk disease invertebral, hypothyroidism and retinal apathy. Getting your beagle from a good breeder with healthy family is key to avoiding these kinds of disease.
